The upcoming BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK concert in Hanoi on July 29-30 has become one of the biggest and most talked-about interests from the end of June to July this year. The event attracted more than 2.3 million discussions, and the situation has been quite complex with many conflicting views.
Despite BLACKPINK’s fans being mainly young people, discussions on Tiktok only accounted for 14.13%, and Facebook was the platform with the most discussions (85.28%).
Negative information revolves around topics such as nine-dash line, ticket information, the show being too short, inconvenient venue, and unprofessional organizers.
Negative reactions to the ticket short selling situation not only occurred in the black market but also involved some famous people on social media due to unreasonable prices and decreasing purchasing power caused by concerns about the nine-dash line controversy. Brands also seem to be afraid of the negative impacts of this event, so they limit the publicity of related activities, mainly posting about giving away tickets.
